I’m a big believer in breakfast. I think it really keeps me from overeating and snacking throughout the morning and gives me the strength to avoid those office donuts. For me, a protein packed breakfast is a must otherwise I am starving by 10am. Enter my morning tradition: Sydney’s Green Smoothie! I have one of these yummy shakes almost every morning:
8oz Unsweetened Original or Vanilla Almond Milk
1 1/2 cups or 1 handful of Organic Fresh Spinach
2 tbsp Almond Butter (with no sugar added)
1 scoop Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard 100% Whey Protein Powder, Naturally Flavored Vanilla or your preferred protein powder
13 ice cubes
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
Yields 16oz smoothie
